Building A Stronger Hamilton County

Hamilton County Commissioner Warren Mackey is an advocate for economic empowerment and stands by his continued efforts to bring more entrepreneurial, small, and big businesses to the Chattanooga, Hamilton County areas. He also believes that building a stronger Hamilton County through small businesses as well as big corporations is a must to ensure any positive cultural shift and to continue the excellent quality of life for all. If individuals; women, minorities, and men who are desiring to create jobs or to grow their businesses in Hamilton County, can confidently trust that Commissioner Warren Mackey will support their efforts. 

Commissioner Mackey’s tenure on the Hamilton County Commission and proof positive track record on healthy economic growth in our communities are worthy demonstrations of his forward-thinking leadership skills, such as his votes to bring Volkswagen to Chattanooga, the creation of a new vocational school in the former Mary Ann Garber School, building, the purchase of the McDonald Farm, and measures to keep local businesses from leaving Hamilton County such as Mckee Food corporationc.  He strongly believes in working in collaboration with all resources available in Chattanooga and throughout Hamilton County for continued economic health and improved job rates.  While the pandemic wreaked havoc on upward swings in our economy statistically, if reelected, Commissioner Mackey will continue his unrelenting fight to bring great jobs to Chattanooga along with promoting an environment wherein men and women can grow their businesses.  Commissioner Mackey believes that a healthy economic environment will help address many of the socio-economic issues that are confronting our communities today.
